Policies, Terms, and Conditions

By placing an order with Rainier Satellite you acknowledge that you have read and accept our policies, terms, and conditions stated here at the time of sale. Policies, Terms ,and Conditions are subject to change at any time without any prior notice. It is the responsibility of the consumer to check for changes each time they visit this site.

Shipping Policy

  • Items are shipped via Fed Ex, UPS or USPS.
  • Regular ground shipping takes 2-14 business days within the continental U.S.  7-21 business days to Alaska & Hawaii. Intenational orders may take 30 days or more due to customs.
  • International orders customers are responsible for any customs or duties fees.
  • Shipping Rates are calculated for the U.S.A. when you check out. If your out of the U.S.A. and your shipping costs exceeds U.S shipping rates, you will be contacted and required to pay the difference in shipping costs before the order will be shipped. If you decline to pay the difference your order will be cancelled. Payment will be refunded as per your payment method. Refunds are given as per PayPal polices and time frame, fees may apply.
  • All orders are processed and shipped on the next business day for orders placed before 3 PM Eastern Standard Time. 
  • Back ordered or special ordered products are not included in the above timeframe.

Use & Warranty Service Policy

All sales are final. We DO NOT refund payment for any product purchased. However, we will exchange products within 30 days that have a manufacturing defect. Unit must be shipped to us with all original packaging and accessories intact. Unit will be checked out by our staff. If found defective a replacement will be sent. If unit is not at fault and problem is on customers end, customer will be responsible for any labor fees, and return shipping to them. If any packaging or any original accessories are missing, customer will be charged for replacement parts and or refurbishment fee before obtaining a new or replacement unit from us. After 30 day period manufacturer warranty will apply and product must be sent directly to them.

To obtain Warranty service within the first 30 days, contact customersupport@rainiersatellite.net to receive an RMA form to fill out with number to return with product. We will also supply to you which service center address unit will need to be shipped to via this e-mail. Labor charges are not covered under this warranty unless unit is found defective by us. The repaired or replaced item will be shipped to the customer, at Rainiers Satellite's expense. It's the consumers responsibility to pay shipping costs to Rainier Satellite or manufacturer's service center.

After the 30 day period all items must be returned to the manufacturer for replacement or repair under the manufacturer warranty as applicable.

Within the first 30 days. Please Contact Rainier Satellite directly if you have any product that has issues. Do Not send it to the address they were shipped from unless Rainier Satellite tells you to do so. You must obtain an RMA form from Rainier Satellite and return it to Rainier Satellite first before you send any improperly working product back. Not following these instructions will result in delay or possible non replacement of product. RMA Terms & Conditions are documented in full on our RMA form.

All Sales are Final. There are NO CASH REFUNDS on products you do not want. Don't order unless you want it!

Not Covered by the Warranty

Rainier Satellite's Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by (1) an accident, abuse, neglect, or exposure to shock, electrostatic discharge, heat or humidity beyond the product’s specifications, improper installation, inappropriate operation, maintenance or modification, or (2) any misuse contrary to the instructions in the installation sheet, or (3) loss, or (4) malfunctions caused by other equipment. Rainier Satellite's Warranty is void if a product is returned with removed, damaged or tampered labels or any other alterations (including removal of any component or external cover) to the product. Rainier Satellite's Warranty does not cover labor charges or any direct, consequential, or incidental damages. Costs related to recovery, removal or installation are not recoverable under the Rainier Satellite Limited Warranty. Rainier Satellite will not provide any warranty coverage unless claims are made in compliance with all terms listed here, and proper return procedures are followed.

Rainier Satellite reserves the right to refuse any returned merchandise if the equipment is returned without an RMA, not sold by Rainier Satellite or its authorized distributors, found to have hardware / software modification or used in a manner that voids the manufacturers warranty.

Rainier Satellite does not guarantee the availability of programming nor your ability to receive a signal. Obtaining a signal requires a clear view of the southern sky with proper installation and setup of the equipment. Equipment returned to us found functioning properly at our repair facility with customer’s problem caused by incorrect installation, or setup of equipment, will be returned to customer, and may be charged a bench check fee.

Return Policy:

Rainier Satellite will accept products returned by customer for a period of 7 days from the date of sale provided that:

The item is not a Special Order item.

The item is in new and unused condition, never used, or connected in any form to customers system. It must be completely intact with all cables, accessories, manuals, etc, included in the original box. Orignal box must be in new unused condition. All returns must have a Return Authorization number before Rainier Satellite will accept it. RA numbers are valid for 10 days from the date issued. Items should be returned to Rainier Satellite (with a copy of the original invoice) with freight prepaid and insured by the customer. Damages incurred in transit to Rainier Satellite are the responsibility of the sender and not Rainier Satellite. Any item returned beyond the 10 day RA period and/or without a valid RA number will be refused by Rainier Satellite. Merchandise must in the original box and must include all manuals, remotes, cables, packing, and other materials. The RA number should be prominently displayed on the shipping label of each box containing returned product. Do not write on the box.

All satellite dishes, sale items and/or special order items ARE NOT subject to return or refund. Rainier Satelllites warranty applies if unit fails within the products warranty period.

If item is marked All Sales are Final this falls under the "All Sales are Final" policy.

Deductions for Returned Products:

The consumer will be charged a 25% refurbishment fee for any item that is returned in an incomplete condition, i.e. missing cables, manuals, remotes, cosmetic damage etc

Special Order items may not be returned/canceled except in the case of defects, and will receive exact replacement only.

A restocking fee of 25% (Minimum $15.00) of the sale price and the shipping charges will be deducted on all returned products.

Refund Policy

Cash refunds are only given within a 10 day return window if approved by us following above procedures, and will be paid in the form of a check from Rainier Satellite to the original purchaser (no exceptions). By accepting the refund check sent to you it removes Rainier Satellite’s liability to you in full of fulfilling the original transaction. By accepting a refund check as compensation the party agrees to hold harmless Rainier Satellite LLC, its agents and employees, and shall be free from all liabilities and claims for loses, damages and/or suits pertaining to transaction or services involved.

Refund Fees

If product or service was paid using our online payment system through Paypal to process credit or debit card transaction, this fee and post office fees for signature required registered mail of refund check will be deducted from the amount of the check sent.

Refund Using Online Payment System through Paypal.

If for any reason a tranaction amout is refunded through Paypal you (the buyer) are liable for any tranaction fees Paypal took when ordering. Rainier Satellite will only refund the amount back to you minus Paypal's tranaction fees. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Shipment Stage

Once product enters the shipment stage a 25% restocking plus refund fees will be applied.

Items marked All Sales Are Final

An item marked as ALL SALES ARE FINAL means just that. Due to the cost or condition of these items, we do not accept any returns, exchanges, or cancellations unless the item is defective or damaged. Under certain circumstances an in store credit may be applied to this type of item. In store credits must be approved by management.

Product Closeout Policy

If product is a one of a kind closeout and found defective it will be replaced with the closest product we have to it in stock. If this is not possible an instore credit will be issued minus any fees associated or due for troubleshooting, shipping, etc. No refunds are available as with this type of product ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Satellite Dish Order Cancellation Fee

There is a 7% cancellation fee on total amount of job to terminate a satellite dish order once process is started and payment is received by us. This cancellation fee, plus any fees to refund payment using wire, credit card, check etc will be deducted from the total paid to us. Your refund will be minus these fees.

Payment Policy

Accepted Payments:

  • Credit Cards are accepted through PayPal, no PayPal Account is needed.
  • Paypal based transactions are processed through PayPal's Secure Server.
  • Wire Transfer (a $35.00 fee is charged to use this service)
  • Bank Cashiers Check (sent to Rainier Satellite's headquarters)
  • Western Union Money Transfer

Our Consumer Receiver Policy

All receivers are brand new and shipped directly from Cisco to Rainier Satellites facilities, then to our subscribers. They carry a full warranty with Cisco with an optional Cisco Smartnet for advanced support and replacement. Cisco's policy is between Cisco and Rainier Satellite and are licensed to the Rainier Satellite authorization pool. Secondary market new or used aka pre-owned unlicensed equipment cannot be used or activated on the Rainier Satellite subscription platform.

Programming Policy

Consumer Programming Termination:

Programing automatically terminates at the end of your 12 month service agreement unless renewed by you. There are no cancellations or refunds, all sales are final.

Terms of Service Agreement:

ALL PRICES, PACKAGE CONTENT, AND CHANNEL LOCATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE OR COMPENSATION. STATE SALES TAX MAY BE APPLICABLE. RETAIL SERVICES ARE UPGRADE-ABLE, BUT NON-CANCELLABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE. PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. ZIP CODE RESTRICTIONS FOR LOCAL BLACKOUT RULES APPLY.

All Programming Services purchased at our store are Intended Strictly for Private, Non-Commercial Viewing in only the USA at the address provided to us at commencement of this agreement. You agree that no Services provided to you may be used for public or commercial viewing or used outside the U.S. and or its possessions address on record with us. In the event that you use our services in violation of this (1) we may disconnect your Services without notice at any time; and (2) in addition to all other applicable prices, fees and charges, you agree to pay us the difference between the price actually paid for the Services and the full applicable price that Rainier charges for public or commercial viewing of the Services. (International distribution is not available at this time)

Subscriber shall not be permitted, and shall take all necessary, appropriate, and reasonable precautions to prevent any unauthorized or unlawful use, reproduction, exhibition, or distribution of any Program, and part of the Service, or the Trademarks.

The purchaser of Rainier subscription services are required to keep their receiving equipment (dish, lnb, etc) operating properly to receive Rainier's signals. Rainier Satellite is not responsible for outages due to improper setup of receiving equipment, dish tuning, weather conditions, manmade interference, and or other acts of God that may prevent reception of Rainier's signals.

Privacy Policy

Your information is used for transacting business and enhancing your store visit only. It is not shared, sold, or otherwise distributed to anyone except for transacting business with you.
